It did have a bunch of other stuff – was just a good example of how we’d often get lots of stuff we didn’t want (onions, parsnips, potatoes etc) and not enough of the stuff we did (bananas, strawberries, lettuce, tomatoes etc). The “ooh what can we make out of the seasonal stuff in the box this week” factor was good at first, but wore off well before we got 6 parsnips for the 12th week in a row

2 bananas, 5 strawberries and 6 onions? That’s.. not very much? Did it have anything else, or just that?

We did this for a few months – it was good stuff most of the time. However, we decided to stop after we realised we were still spending the same at the supermarket, only now we had loads of food we didn’t really want, and sometimes didn’t use. And if we got fruit/veg that we did want, it was usually the expensive stuff so they didn’t give us much, so we’d still have to go buy more; our last box had 2 bananas, 5 strawberries and 6 onions. Anyway, hope your experience with your Danish company is better!
